Twelve months ago, I resigned from my job of nearly seven years. Several emotions welled within my being. Joy, as I had become disillusioned with my career, and travel was at the forefront of my thoughts. However, mingled in was a sense of sorrow as I was leaving a great boss who had become a good friend. House sitting had now become my main focus and how we could achieve this without my income and only Carolyn’s reduced income to rely on. How could I bring in money? Our website was to be my option of choice. Creating income was going to be a challenge, but one I believed I could do. Several ideas have come and gone, but one has always hovered in the background. The “Mentorship Academy” a program that we could pass on our knowledge we have acquired over our year of house and pet sitting.

The “Mentorship Academy” has morphed from several different concepts to what is now my first completed project ready to roll out. Will it be successful, able to deliver results, capture a market that will provide strong growth. Only time will tell. Having spent countless hours on its structure and how it will be delivered the time is near when I will roll it out into the marketplace. Fearful? HELL YES!! Excited? Definitely!! When you create something new like the Mentorship Academy you believe it will succeed. “The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today” Franklin D. Roosevelt. Doubts for sure. However, these will not limit what I can achieve. Albert Schweitzer said “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
