How to make an income while traveling!!! This has been my main focus since we began. Travel is Sweet was conceived as a travel blog for our travel adventures. However, it has since morphed to include our house and pet sitting journey as well. While our website was designed to supply fun, entertainment and interesting content. It was also intended to bring in an income to help support us with associated travel expenses. Now I knew this was going to be challenging but just how much I didn’t realise. So, when I see and read of people saying making money easily, I now know that is not the complete truth. Having read many of these articles and even paid for some the reality is unless you have a decent amount of traffic to your website you will struggle.

Alternatively, we could throw lots of money on advertising our website which is not an option at this point in time. So how do we get more traffic to our website is the question? Content is king they say, so writing excellent quality, informative and fun blogs is essential. Hence, that is my main focus to write these types of blogs. On top of that is SEO, which has taken a little time to learn, but I have now got a better understanding of it. While writing has never been one of my strong points, and what would take a person, blessed with writing skills half the time it takes me, I am getting there. 😊 With this in mind, if you would like me to write a blog on any part of our travels please let me know. Mostly these are via affiliate links from which we earn small commissions from those companies. How this works, when a client buys using the links on our website, we receive a small commission. I can also build and host a small website for those wishing an internet presence.
